USELESS - NO DELIVERY - NO MANAGEMENT AROUND

Madelein agreed to deliver our goods from Storage on Saturday the 30th November at our new house at 2pm. I received an sms from Madelein with the driver's phone number to follow up the delivery. At 2pm I phoned the driver and he said he is running 3 hours late. I phoned Shawn - who is apparently the top dog there - and he said he would phone me back in 2 minutes. He then switched his phone off and went home. At 8pm I phoned the driver who was no-where near the storage depot to cancel until Sunday.

On Sunday the driver, not management, phoned to say he will be at our house at around 1 pm. At 3pm I received a call from the driver to say they had run out of petrol and could we assist. I drove out to near Nothgate to pay for petrol (R272). No luck starting. I then paid for a mechanic (R250) to come out - still can't start. The driver then called a friend to take him to the depot to get another truck. We went home after 6pm.

Monday I phoned Madelein who was not aware of anything. No apology and stated they were not in the office as it was a Saturday. Goods arrived on Monday 1:30pm. 2 nights accomodation paid by me and a days leave taken, and R525 paid out of pocket due to this company
