A1 Assist Towing
R 5 700 cash just to get your car back

My young employee had someone hit his car from behind and it was not drivable. A1 Assist towed his car to Industria even though he requested them to take it to his preferred panel beater, which was much closer. We went immediately to reclaim his car and were told it would cost R 5 700 cash to get it released by them, a few hours after the accident. AA charged R 1 700 to tow the car back to the preferred panel beater: a lot further than A1 Assist had towed it. The atmosphere was quite threatening and not conducive to negotiation. There ARE decent tow-away organisations, but this is not one of them.
