Car engen damaged due to neglegence

On saturday morning on the 19th of october i was going to the funeral at Thulamahashe (bushbuckridge) when i passed by Engen garage at Elim mall and bought a small tin of oil and the petrol attended by the name of Emmanuel assisted me to put the oil in and then close the bonnet, i asked him if he was done and he said yes but he never closed the cap. when i reached hoedspruit my car made funny noise and when i stop and check there was oil all over the engen. i called my insurance to take the car as it was no longer drivable and with the assessment report it shows that the engen is damaged. i reported the matter to the manager by the name of Jacobus Klopper and he said they have submitted a claim from their insurance but they dont inform me of the progress, he wait for me to call or go see him. i am tired of going after them and im the 1 who is suffering from paying an instalment on a vehicle which is just stuck. i have plans over the festive season but my plans to go on holiday are on hold since they are not acting on the matter and the fact that i dont have a car due to the negligence of their employee
