Unfair billing

Rental agreement number 163503096, A Rental car was given to me by my insurance company while my car was being repaired by panel beaters. On return a few VERY MINOR scratches was noted on the bottom or the right rear door, possibly caused by driving on bad gravel roads. Europcar sent the car for repairs to the amount of R3600 without consulting me or even discussing the matter with me or giving me the option of having it repaired by myself. I feel that the cost incurred is excessive and is a rip-off.
