Fraudgilent signature

My fianc? was involved in a car accident on the 01.11.2013, around 07:27AM. she was bumped at the back of my car as she was in the the in the ambulance, the medics where busy with her. the A1 assist towed my car without my authorisation. as we checked the slip that was given to my fianc? we found that the signature was my that it was't my fianc? signature. now they want us to pay R5700.00 to release the car from their yard. we opened a case from the police. what can i do in a situation like this
