Labour Ripp-Off!

All went well at this little branch untill the owner went on holiday and left his mechanic 'Gert 'in charge. During this period I took my student son's Uno there for a headgasket replacement. After the job had been quoted and the engine dismantled he "discovered " the source of the problem - a rusted Welch Plug.
He then informed me that it would require addittional labour of R450 to replace!!
Hahaha... what a joke!! Its a 6 min job at most to hammer in a R15 Welch Plug!! and other places dont even charge for that. When I confronted him on the issue he just smiled and said thats it.
Because the car was already there and dismantled he felt that he could effectively me with addittional labour. Poor show Silverton Radiators.
