We advertised for a canopy for a Isuzu D/C! Received a call from Etienne Zaayman from GR Motor Spares - Bloemfontein saying that he has one & that he will send it via courier - Ricks Courier Services! After paying him the full amount, he Issued an invoice with a false address, Jan from the courier services promised for 4 days in a row that the canopy will be delivered but that never happened because his bakkie "broke down"... We drove through to Potchefstroom to meet him to collect the canopy but he never pitched up!! Also did not answer his phone! The canopy was returned to Etienne in Bloemfontein! Arrangements with him followed the same pattern - he made promises which he could not commit to. We again arranged to meet him halfway (in Kroonstad) but he did not pitch up & later had the excuse that there was a misunderstanding as to where we were supposed to meet him. He then promised to deliver the canopy to our doorstep on Wednesday - 16 October. Needless to say - there was more excuses and no canopy!! Also does not answer his cellphone anymore!! A case will be opened today. Bank acc is in the name of Daniel Zaayman, Cell no's: 082-763-7417 / 084-622-3762!!
