Car complain. bought a car 2 months back

I bought a car on the 3 august from Mr Neville kaplin it was a Cash deal. from day one the gave me problems. there was a oil leak and same day I took the car from him I let him know about it. after a few weeks i phone him again and he agree to fix the leak which he said was a oil seal. but stilt there was a few drops from the engin. on sunday the 6th August the car just went and switched off there was no power on the car and could drive further. from what the mechanic told me he have to do the Gasket cause the all flows in the pipes and thats wher the oil leaks came from. when I inspect the car the day when I took the car from him he promise that there is nothing wrong with the car and its still in a perfect condition which you could see cause the engin was so cleanly wash that you couldn't see a mistake on it. he mr. Kaplin even confirm that he washed the engin. i am unhappy cause i have to spend another R3000 to fix the car and I bought the car for R26500 2 months back on the 3rd of August 2013. Corsa 13I 1997 model. i will appreciated if you can help me in this matter or at-least advise me what to do.
