My friend and I rented a grey Nissan Micra (CH63HP GP) car from Tempest Car Hire @ Cape Town International Airport on the 25th of September and returned the car on the 26th of September. The car was rented under Juanita Vermeulen. I forgot my scarf and wedding ring underneath the front passenger seat and just remembered before I had to board the plane back to JHB. My friend had a later flight and said that she would go back to fetch it seeing that we just returned the car. We returned the car at 15:00 and she was back at the car rental latest at 15:30. The person (Rodney Plaaitjies) that received the car when we returned it said that he found the scarf but not the ring. The scarf was tucked in underneath the seat and he would have had to bend and look underneath the seat to see it and would have seen the ring as well. The ring has immense sentimental value. I offered a generous reward but they kept on insisting that they on insisting that they didn't find the ring.
Think twice before renting from Tempest car hire. They are dishonest.
