Unaceptable after sales services

I received my car on 19 August with the promise that the clip on the console will be repaired the next week..
During the next week I phoned the Sales man Jaco twice to find out how I need to go about the repairs.
I was inform by him to email Harry and Cc him- So I did that. Fortunately for me I asked for a read receipt - Jaco opened the mail Harry untill know haven'r even responded.
Then I decided on Friday to phone EJX Auto - I was able to get Harry on the line only after I asked to speak to the manager. Harry then confirmed that I can bring the car for the repairs early on Monday.
Monday morning I left the car at the EJX and their driver took me back to work. I arrange to be collected at 15:00 from work to collect the car. At 15:15 I was able to get hold of Jaco to asked what happened to the driver and if he is on his way?
At this stage I was told that the car will not be finished and a Driver will be sent with a courtesy car.
My problem is - If the car was booked in for certain repairs that should take about 30 minutes - Why does it take a whole day? Secondly If I will not be collected or if the car will not be ready why not let me know? Why do I have to phone?
