Carisma Car Hire
Don't go near these people!

I hired a car with Carisma Car Hire (otherwise known as MC Hire) based in Plumstead, for a period of 6 days for R945. When the car was delivered, it was very dirty. I called to complain, and they replaced it with a new car. They said the vacuum was broken and management wasn't aware of this important fact. Then they overcharged us R100 which was not on the agreed quote, and they did not get back to me as to why. When it was time to have the car collected, we filled the tank (until the auto stop applies at the petrol pump) and delivered 20 minutes before the collection time.

The next day, I was charged an additional R160-06, without reason. When we called to query, we were told it was for fuel, which apparently was R90. We told them the vehicle was filled to the auto stop of the pump and we have proof thereof, and that we should not be charged if their staff drive around in the vehicle.
We were told that all petrol station have different levels set for auto stop. We should be happy with the new car and the "TYPE" of people we are, they would make sure no-one would hire vehicles to us ever!!
No apologies, investigation, just accuse/attack the customer!!
