I rented a basic mazda sting in bad condition with 250000km on the clock. I rented for 2 months during which time I must have come close to paying enough money to buy the car. When returning it I was hit in the face with hidden and ridiculous costs you don't pay with other car rental companies. CA Car hire is cheap- and there is a reason for that. I brought the car back in the same condition I took it and they withheld my entire deposit. When reading the long contract you will find hidden costs one naturally doesn't look out for when renting. Read the contract CAREFULLY. As a matter of fact- stay away in general, rather pay more for a decent car and keep your deposit
