Leo Haese Bmw
Paid for Smash & Grab - Never installed

Cars & Transport

My parents (PJ Turner & W Turner) purchased a BMW 320i at Leo Haese Centurion from Rocco Naud? in 2008. On the OTP it clearly states that Smash & Grab was charged at R1655.00. According to Rocco the supplier installed the Smash & Grab as they have an invoice. On the 4th of August my mom had a smash & grab incident in Centurion. Glasfit indicated that there was no Smash & Grab on the window (I have a report from them). When I communicated with Rocco regarding this he stated that it is possible for a dealer to have removed the smash & grab film due to it causing electronic faults in the vehicle (if the vehicle went in for a service). If this is true; which I highly doubt then the dealer where the vehicle was taken for a service should have indicated this to my parents. They were not aware of this being done. I would like to request that my mom (as my father has passed away) will be reimbursed for the money charged. The insurance company requested my mom to place smash & grab on her vehicle immediately as they would pay for it. Thus we don't want smash & grab installed on the vehicle. Your prompt response will be highly appreciated.
