Ancient GPS Maps Supplied with New Vehicle

I purchased a new Jeep in April 2012. I soon realised that the maps supplied with the built-in GPS were at least 6 years old! I enquired as to when new maps would be available, and was told that Jeep had promised to supply them within 2 months. Repeated requests for new maps have been met with exactly the same response. I have had my Jeep for 18 months, and I now have a set of maps which are at least 8 years old, and too often fail to provide the information I need.
