Kicked off the premises for changing a tyre

Cars & Transport

Hi

I noticed a puncture on my rear tyre and to prevent any damage to the low profile tyre or wheel, I pulled into the BP petrol station as it was right in front of me. I then proceeded to put air in the tyre to see how bad the puncture was, The tyre would not hold even 1 bar of air therefore the puncture was severe and needed to be changed, I then proceeded to take out the spare and change the tyre (still no attendant came to see why I was there) As I had already loosened the wheel bolts and just about to lift the car and pull off the tyre, The owner Mohammed came to me and told me I am not allowed to change the tyre on the premises, I said I would be done in the next 5 minutes and out of the way.
Also note the petrol station was not busy and I wasn't stopping anyone else from putting in petrol. Mohammed then picked up my tool and refused to give it back until I moved off the premises, I had to move to the road which is then obstructing traffic and at an incline putting my vehicle at risk of falling and perhaps landing on me, I further damaged my tyre by driving on it to get off the premises. I find this very rude and a bad presentation of the BP "Beyond Petroleum" ethics.
