2 months still no equipment

I had survey instruments imported from Canada 2 months ago. The shipment arrived on 9 June and was couriered through FedEx. After some issues it was decided to pass the clearance over to DHL forwarding. After a lot of aggravation and several emails I received an invoice with the correct amount to pay for VAT (10 July). This was paid a week after. Yet I have still not received this shipment. Something about customs not clearing, paperwork, etc.

The delay has cost me a lot of lost revenue. One part of the shipment was for a client which has now cancelled. This is a loss of R160000 commission not to mention the loss for my suppliers. The other part was a warranty replacement for my company. Each day we do not have use of the system is a loss of revenue of over R9000 a day. We have now lost contracts due to non delivery and face further losses if this continues. The shipment is the lifeblood of the company and without the equipment we are facing closure due to lost contracts.

This type of thing is totally unacceptable and someone needs to be held accountable. We are a fairly small company and cannot afford this type of lost revenue.
