LATE DELIVERY, PASSING THE BUCK & LACK OF FEEDBACK

In December 2012 we purchased a Honda 125XR from Honda Riverside in Vereeniging for our son. We were advised that delivery would be in the first week of Jan & we would have the motorcycle on 4th January '13. When delivery failed to take place, Honda Riverside blamed HQ in JHB. After communicating with HQ, they promised motorcyle would be delivered by 10th Jan & we would be advised when it was delivered. True to their word, the motorcycle was at Honda Riverside by 10th Jan. Unfortunately we had to contact Honda Riverside, as they failed to let us know it had arrived.

On Wednesday 16th Jan my husband returned to Honda Riverside to point out that the mudguard had been damaged (scratched) due to a id tag which is attached to the frame, as well as 2 bolts which were missing. Honda Riverside took photo's & advised that they would elevate this to HQ & would provide feedback the next day. It is now almost a week later & absolutely no feedback has been received from Honda Riverside.

I received great service from Honda SA & they kept their promise with regard to the delivery of the motorcyle but it seems as if Honda Riverside do not uphold the same standards.
