We put in an enquiry for a Discoverer 4 motorhome vehicle for a holiday from 27/8/2013 to 12/9/2013 in Namibia on their website. They emailed and said the requested vehicle was not available for the dates, but will look for alternatives. Then we emailed them to ask when their vehicles will be available, to give us alternative dates so that we can change our accommodation accordingly. The next email we received said we don't have to worry, they located a vehicle for our dates and location and that we must book and pay the deposit because they have only a FEW VEHICLES left, which I did within minutes. That was about 9:45. At about 12:30 someone called to say they don't have a vehicle anymore and it is only available from the 1 Sept. I told them that it is unacceptable, because after their assurance that we can have the vehicle, I went and book air tickets and confirm our accommodation in Etosha. This after flight tickets and accommodation is confirmed, the vehicle is not available anymore. How can you go from a few vehicles available to no vehicles in a few minutes? They are totally incompetent and could not care and would not help.
