Why does one have to keep phoning a supplier for something you have asked them to do??? I took my polo vivo in for a service and to check the sticky ignition at the end of last year. Service was done with no problems, the person I dealt with in the service department said they worked on the ignition and if it still gives problems after a couple of weeks I will need to bring it back and they will have to replace the ignition. Sounds simple enough. So I phoned him and said its still faulty, and I was told the part will be ordered. weeks went by without feedback, so I mailed the service centre, got no reply. I phoned the service guy, he wasn't there and was supposed to call back... never happened, I kept on phoning, and got hold of him, and was told the part still hasn't arrived (this was nearly two months later). Weeks later I got hold of the guy and was told the part would be there in a couple of days and I will be called to bring in my car. never happened. It is now nearly 6 months down the line and still haven't heard a word from them and my warranty has expired now. are the delaying the process so it doesn't get done under warranty or did they just forget to order it?
