53L IN A 45L TANK???

Cars & Transport

Hi,

Yesterday (24 June 2013) - My Partner and I stopped at the garage to fill our car up. We had about 20km to go till we would have reached an empty tank. We normally stop to put fuel in at this time. We asked the petrol attendant to full the car up - which he did. When we looked at the price to fill the car we were shocked to see that it took 53l. Our car only has a 45l tank and the most it has ever cost me to fill the car was about R580.00 and that was when I had 0km left to travel before an empty tank. I asked the manager if there was something wrong with his machine, he told us that we didn't know what we were talking about and was extremely rude he shouted at us and treated us like.
I could understand if the car was completely empty but it wasn't. I have no reason to about this and be accused of being a. I still paid the six hundred and something rand petrol bill - but i will not be using this garage again. I wouldn't recommend anyone else does either, especially with that managers disgusting attitude.
