What hapened to the client comes first?

I was looking for a specified tire brand, but could not find it. I asked the guy that looked friendly and helpful. He confined met to take another brand that was similar to the one I was looking for.
Jokingly I told him can I give his name to my father in case the tires aren't as good, and I am very serious about good tires.
He looked at me, told me not to threaten him and just walked away.
I was planning on baying to tires each, but his bad attitude convinced me to rather go somewhere else.
