Defective E350

Cars & Transport

I purchased a certified pre-owned Mercedes (R 550 000) from the dealership. My first complaint was that the PDC's weren't working properly. I drove the vehicle for 2 weeks. I was stopping at an intersection when the brakes failed and I rear ended the vehicle doing 15 km/h. After driving for 40-50 km's I felt a shudder coming from the left rear wheel. I stopped the car and called for roadside assistance. The breakdown service just pulled out the remaining bolt of the same wheel by hand as the thread was worn. The right rear wheel had 2 bolts missing. I complained to the dealership but was told by Mr. Adams that the issue was between my insurance company and me and had nothing to do with the dealership and that he would not entertain my calls in the future. I then wrote numerous complaints to Mercedes-Benz SA who just passed the buck with their broken promises of returning calls and keeping me in the loop about the situation. My cellphone bill was R 1999 due to all the follow up calls that I had to make to get answers to my predicament. Vehicle registration is ND 206-683. I've been without a vehicle for a month. I'm a rep and am on the verge of losing my job. Please HELP?!
