How can you run out of diesel??!!

Yesterday afternoon, just after 5pm, I stopped at the Engen Garage on Terrace Road in Edenvale to fill my bakkie with diesel. When I got there I was told they have no diesel but the truck is coming at midnight and they will have. And I was told that the Engen down the road has 50pp diesel. SO fine, I had enough diesel to get me home and back to the garage this morning. When I got there this morning STILL NO DIESEL!!! So I get told again by a different attendant that the Engen down the road has 50pp diesel so I go there and guess what they DON"T have 50pp diesel. To the manager of this Engen: please educate your staff on which garages stock what diesel/petrol so they don't give customers false information. And please learn how to order in time so that you don't run out. I will be stopping there this afternoon again as I have been informed that there will be diesel by then. Should there not be diesel I will get the hint that you don't want my business and go elsewhere and NEVER attempt to use your garage again.
