Shocking Service

Cars & Transport

I took out a MotorPlan when I bought my car in 2008. It was a 3 year or 60 000km motor plan. When I took my car for a service in 2011, they advised that they had contacted the MotorPlan company and they would pay for the services until 60 000km. They never mentioned to me that it had also changed to 5 years. I booked my car in this morning for it's 60 000km, only to be told now that I would have to pay as the plan had expired. I then requested to speak to the manager, who advised that she could reduce the labour amount from - R2600 to - R2000. I told her that I had dealt with the service person at her dealership in 2011 (and every service since) and they did not tell me about the 5 years - ONLY the 60 000km. The plan expired one week ago - if i had been told the correct information initially I would have booked it in last week!!!
I want to be refunded by Baron's for this cost, as I think this is unacceptable! I am now out of pocket by R2000 because they did not advise me correctly.
