No response to enquiries or complaints

I acted on a special offer beginning of April. The dealership contacted me and requested images of the car I possibly wanted to trade in. After this was sent, I have not heard anything from them. Reps from McCarthy phone me every week to hear whether I've been helped. When I tell them about the non-response from the sales person they undertake to get him to contact me, but nothing ever happenned. I also mailed him directly, asking to at least inform me should he not be interested in doing business, but still nothing!

I sent a query to the sales manager, but apart from an automated response, also nothing. I am very disappointed with the non performance of everybody involved and hope that the entire McCarthy group is not like that.

Is it really that difficult to send out a response to let the would-be customer know where he stands, or are South Africans just losing their back bone (and etiquette) completely?
