Cars & Transport

We took our Peugeot 206 to the Woodmead branch for its annual service. On Peugeot's website there is a high mileage offer: [URL Removed] which states 25% discount on a service if your car is above 250 000km. At the branch we inquired about this discount. The branch personnel informed us that the offer expired on the 30th of April 2013. I phoned the head office to inquire, and the person informed me that the offer expired on the 30th of January 2013.

I find this confusing: on the website there is no mention as to when the offer is valid for. It does indicate with a small asterisk at the bottom of the advert that "terms and conditions" apply. That being said, there is no hyperlink to take you to the above mentioned "terms and conditions", nor was I able to locate it after searching on their website.

I feel Peugeot is misleading their customers by having a advert on their website 3 months after the offer had already expired! Surely this constitutes false advertising. I could have taken my car for a service anywhere else, but was lulled into believing I would qualify for a discount on my service. This is not acceptable.
