Got sick from Double Down

Yesterday I went and bought a Double Down meal, 4 Zinger wings, and a grilled Twister from KFC Waterglen. Firstly the twister for my wife was very dry, and not tasty. It had almost no sauce.
I had the double down and 4 zinger wings, and although it tasted great, I got very sick from it. I had to run to the toilet immediately. Got the worst stomach cramps ever, nausea, and had to run to the toilet a total of 7 times, else I would've my pants!

Not impressed!
Did they maybe use old oil? Or what could have caused the problem?
