Shocking Public Service

I have just returned from shopping at Carnival Mall in Brakpan. While I was waiting to place an order - an elderly gentleman asked for a plastic cup of water for somebody that was ill outside. The Mugg & Bean staff member blatantly refused to provide this as she said the cups get counted and if you want water you need to buy it in a bottle... This is outrageous - where is the compassion? I openly said to your staff member, what if this was your mother or child that needed assistance and she cheekily replied by saying that she has a job and would have bought a bottled water. I immediatly left without placing an order.

This type of public service has left a bad taste in my mouth and I most certainly won't be supporting Mugg & Bean in the future due to witnessing this lack of interest and care for a fellow citizen. I will also highlight this in conversation and trust that my friends and family will also no longer support the Mugg & Bean brand.
