Standards have definitely dropped

We had supper at Adega Boksburg on Monday, 20/01/2014. This always used to be one of the options when we wanted good food and a great dining experience. However, the standards have grossly dropped. The hygiene leaves a lot to be desired, dirty floor, toilets and the place just has a muff smell. It also seems like the place is not being maintained, ceilings are stained and dirty, multiple down lights were out and the toilet equipment had smudge marks. All a clear indication that general cleaning is lacking. The buffet table set-up was poorly done. The white table cloths were creased, skew and untidy. We had to wait for so long before our waiter would check on us, when she eventually pitched we asked for the bill. While paying she asked one of her colleagues to complete the transaction and disappeared. At this stage there were not a lot of diners so we still can't figure why we were not serviced adequately. Definitely won't go back, everything was just unacceptable. Adega needs to do some serious damage control.
