The Butcher Shop & Grill
Treated like a Punk!

On 13/12/2013 after a movie in Sandton City me and a friend decided to head over to Nelson Mandela Square for a pleasant dinner, we were in the mood for stake and decided to go with The Butcher Shop & Grill. We walked into total chaos, the receptionist ignored us completely, a waiter then came along and asked us if we were helped and I said no, I missed understood him and started to follow him as I though he said he will take us to our table but was actually just collecting some dishes. We walked back to the reception desk where the manager in a complete condescending tone told us, before he had asked us anything, to go to the back of the queue to get helped, like we are some punks that do not have the right to eat there. This is completely unacceptable, especially from a restaurant that is visited by many tourists on a daily basis and is suppose to make people feel welcome in SA. This was my first and last time going there and I would recommend all my friends and family not to go there either.
