Chicken Licken
False Advertising

I recently accessed Chicken Licken website, advertising Hotwings 6 Deluxe for R24.95. I proceeded to contact Chicken Licken in Epping and queried about the offer seen on the link below:

I spoke to Pumza who is the Manager at the Epping branch, who insisted the price was at R31.90. I asked to then send the proof of the pricing online either via email or fax, which she advised they didnt have.

I am perturbed by this, as not only is this false advertising, but quite shocked that there was no way for me to send the ad indicating the price. Especially as Chicken Licken has a website - surely a fax number or email address is not that farfetched.

Not only am I appalled by that, but also due to the abrupt and insistent response / service I received. Not a "my apologies for that" or "Can I follow up on that for you" all I got was "Huh-uh, it's R31.90"

I'm extremely disappointed.
