Service & quality of food

I use to love going to melrose arch meat company and haven't been there in a while so decided to take two of our secretaries on the 4th September for lunch as part of their secretaries day gift. We all decided to order lamb shank (which is already overpriced at R180 per meal) which use to be the best on the menu but on the day we ordered the quality of the meat was not tender & had no taste, the veggies was hard & the mash had no taste brought it to our waitress attention & she didn't seem like she was interested in sorting our compliant out & just Said that she will tell the chef, being the ladies special day I didn't want to spoil it & by then I was already impatient as our food took long to arrive & on top of it it was tasteless, we ordered dessert Cream brule which was also not any better. I don't understand what happened to the quality of the food as the pricing is overpriced for service & bad quality food & taste!
