Second degree burns from take away cuppachino

I ordered a cuppachino from the drive through, park ed in a parking bay and attempted to take the lid of the cup to add sugar, the lid needed force and as I pulled the cuppachino spilled all over me. I am fully aware that on the cup it says"caution contents hot" but never thought it would be made so hot so as to cause second degree/partial thickness burns to my stomach and leg. Surely it must be served hot but not scorching so as to cause such a deep injury? I have big blisters and places were the skin has come off the burn is so severe. I believe head office needs to be made aware of this so nobody else has to endure this kind of pain from any hot beverage served at MacDonalds. I have seen a doctor and pictures of the extent of the burn will be sent to head office.
