Cafee Bree
Terrible attitude and behaviou

My husband and I went into Cafe Bree to look around, and decided to buy some custard tarts. While we waited for a price, 1 of the owners (I assume based on his comments) gave us another cupcake to try. The cake was good, but I mentioned that the icing was too sweet for me personally. The man completely overreacted, smashing the plate on the floor behind me, yelling at us to leave, and swearing at and insulting me repeatedly. In shock from the dispropportionate reaction to my comment, I swore back at him.

The other owner came over and told us to stop making a scene and leave, which we did. As a parting shot, the 1st guy yelled at me to "go wash your hair" (bright purple). This comment did not upset me, but it is extremely inappropriate given that the cafe is across from a hospital that treats cancer patients.

I will not be going back, and I will discourage everyone I know as well. Even if I had been anything other than polite in my comment, which I was not, this is not the sort of attitude or behaviour that will keep a business open, and I say this as someone who waitressed for many years.
