St. Elmo's
Raw deal

Yesterday my husband and I went to St. Elmos, Walmer Park in Port Elizabeth to have a pizza for my birthday.
What a dissapointment!
After waiting about thirty mins. for the pizza, I soon realised that the dough was still wet, it hadnt been cooked properly.
I called the manager and at first he tried to convice me that the pizza was not raw, he scratched it with a fork and then said he will send it back and have a new one made for us.
We then patiently waited for another 25-30 mins, for the next pizza.
One would think that this time, he would have personally checked it or something. I then discovered that it was still raw... I could taste the dough!!! I was disgusted.
I called the manager yet again, and this time his explanation was that, it was a thick based pizza and if it was left to cook longer the topping would have burned. Why then make thick crust an option?
I could not believe this guy. He had an arrogant attitude as well and did not even offer to compensate for the poor service and food. I was extremely dissapointed and my birthday dinner was ruined, we left without eating. I was also annoyed by the managers lack of good customer service.
