Paying for half the goods

I bought an extra-large Mcdonalds meal, drove home only to discover the fries were literally half-full.
Contemplated driving back to complain, but the petrol, time and effort did not seem worth it, also how would one prove that they were only half-full and not eaten =(

We should ALWAYS look at what we are sold before driving away.
