The Local Grill
Shocking prices and poor service

On Saturday evening my family and I went to The Local Grill in Boksburg. I had heard it was good but pricey, and we thought we would try it out. When we arrived the first impression of the restaurant is that its very smart, neat and clean.

Once we received our menus I was very shocked at the prices. A portion of ribs cost R160 for approximately 600g. When I ordered them the waiter asked what I would like with them and then I noticed that you have to pay extra for chips, veggies etc, at at least R20 per portion! Which means that 1 meal was R180.

For those prices you expect amazing service, our service was average and when my moms steak arrived it looked like biltong (it was supposed to be medium rare)

Overall I will never go back to the Local Grill, I cannot justify the prices they charge for the food that you receive
