WHY PLAY IF WE CAN NOT WIN?

We frequent this bar, especially due to the fact that they have a BIG BUCK HUNTER GAME.
They have a few monthly competitions - shoot the highest points and win cash prize/case of beer/bottle of liquor.
I am angry because a staff member is constantly busy playing and to make matters worse, he gets a bazillion highscores and then we can not even get into the 10th position! Now I ask, why have competitions that you know no one will be able to even stand a chance of winning???
The waiter hogs the machine throughout the day, he plays for free because he has a key... I mean my gosh.
It's a pity he has nothing else to do with his time so now he is wasting ours.
Oh, and even worse try playing pool cause the staff members are constantly playing on it with their friends and girlfriends!
That is a bussiness, not a personal playground. I will stop going there for these reasons only seeing as it was the only reason we went there in the first place.
