Bad Service-corkage fee

My husband and I made plans on 27/06/2013 to eat at Panorottis Windhoek in Maerua Mall.
I called the store and spoke to Charlene about a corkage fee. She advise yes to corkage fee and it cost N$20.00.
Waiters ignored us on arrival - no one to seat us.
Our waiter advised that we could not drink our own brought wine (we had to explain we will pay corkage fee). Her supervisor then came to sort the situation.
Much later the owner or hostess of the restaurant came to meet and greet us - an hour later she approached us again and advised the following: the wine that we were drinking is sold at the restaurant - and next time we will be charged for the bottle. This we disputed as the wine of our choice is not shown on the menu. This we queried once before at the same restaurant and was informed that the wine was not available -
This we found very unprofessional - immediately finished up our meal and left.
I am sorry to say that the whole nights experience was full of problems and was unpleasant.
Waiters need to be aware of procedures and the wine menu should be updated. Restaurants should leave a good impression so that customers want to come back!
