I'm usually very patient with food etc. but when an hour and a half had passed after ordering from Scooters Pizza in Hillcrest, I started phoning the branch but no one answered. I had paid with my credit card so I had already been charged. I even phoned the restaurant next door to see if Scooters was, in fact, still even open. They informed me that they had closed the doors but there were still people inside. I had tried around 7-10 phone calls before I drove to the branch. When I got there, it was open and when I tried the number while standing there, it rang on my end but not in the store. I leaned over the counter and saw that the phones were all unplugged. It had now been over 90 minutes since ordering and when I asked them why the phones were unplugged, they said they were understaffed so weren't taking orders. I can understand the reason but unplugging a company's phones is ridiculous. Especially since I had already paid and therefore had no means of contact nor had received a call to let me know it would be late and cold. I had to leave my sisters house where I was helping her look after her sick 9 month old baby. Very unhappy about the disregard of service etiquette.
