I constantly get text messages from Thinkmoney even though I am NOT their customer.
I have tried to get off their marketing list but there is no way to do this. There is no email addresses or pphone numbers to contact either.
They are in breach of Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (Act 25 of 2002) and even claim to be members of the DMA.
This is all in breach of the above mentioned Act and this unsolicted email and text message communication is illegal.
On 05 April 2013, I received the following message from you:
| Get an Extended Warranty Service Bundle on your car...
Since this is a commercial message, and since I have not requested to
be placed on your mailing list, this message constitutes an unsolicited
communication in terms of section 45 of the Electronic Communications
and Transactions Act (Act 25 of 2002).
In terms of section 45 (4) of this Act, this message serves as
notification that I do not wish to receive any further communications
from you. Failure to comply with this request constitutes a criminal
offence in terms of the ECT Act.
