MiWay
Nuisance Calls

I continuously receive calls from 087 350 8888 on my cell. The call is disconnected when I answer. Sometimes I hear voices in the backgound, sometimes not. This started during Dec 2013 and still persists to date. I've received a call from this number almost daily for the past 2 weeks.
I know the number belongs to MiWay because:
1) Dec 2013 I spoke to the MiWay consultant who called me from this number. I told him I was not interested in taking out vehicle insurance through their company.
2) I've looked up the number on-line and it's linked to MiWay.
3) There are other complaints on Hello Peter wherein this same number and MiWay are mentioned (one other complaint in particular is for the very same complaint I have).
I even went as far as contacting MiWay's call centre directly on Monday. I explained my complaint to the person I spoke to & asked him to remove my number from their database / call list. He assured me it would be done. This morning I received yet another call.
I cannot express how FED UP I am with these calls. It is truly PATHETIC! I'd love to know where they got my number from to begin with, but they will never be truthfull about this.
