Just cannot get thru to you, how frustrating

My problem is that I have send money to my son from overseas for his studies... I have paid all exchange rates and the money was send to him in ZAR... south african rand. My question to you is why did you take off so much money at your foreign exchange and for what when the money was already transfered to Rand... I have to send more funds to my son but so scared this problem will occur again, I was also thinking for my son to open an account for me with you to transfer money for my old age... but I am afraid to say it just won? t work.
