Absa
Taking forever to do a transfer!!

So I'm buying a house, and all was going very smoothly until Absa started to sit on their backsides and do absolutely nothing!

I'm the buyer and Nedbank is handling my bond and transfer which went so fast I couldn't keep up.
The seller though has a bond with Absa, and they are taking FOREVER!!! to supply my attorneys with the cancellation figures and the Title deed.

I've contacted them and no one can refer me to someone I can talked to about this situation.

I accepted the fact that there was the Christmas and New years holiday and things slowed down a bit, but it's been a month now and nothing is happening in the house of Absa!

They are delaying my transfer process and causing me to need to pay penalties on the place I'm leasing at the moment, get up and start working Absa!!!
