My credit rating is gone to high risk, after paying of a car in 3 years and paying 90 percent of a personal loan within 2 years, which is a 5 year term. I paid extra money into my vehicle account an because of people who does not do their job properly, my payments were duplicated and when it was time to restructure, left me in arrears and put me in the credit bureau and was sent a letter of repossession. I had to phone the call centre several days at my cost to sort out their mistake. eventually they cleared me and apologised for their mistake and they said I will have no problems in the future. they cleared my name from credit bureau but never sort out my risk grading. I applied for a personal loan top up this week and was declined, the consultant said I was high risk and I must phone the complaints department, because she cant give me any reasons. which I did and was told they will get back to me in 72hours. that has passed and no response. if that's how absa bank treat good customers, its not worth banking with them. I manage all my accounts perfectly and get treated like a person does not pay accounts. very disappointed with service and errors of absa.
