REGENT RAISES INSURANCE 40%

Letter dated 30 Nov - o btw - your insurance is going up 40%. No matter you are CLAIM free since 2005, the vehicle is low mileage (garaged most of the year). course they send it during holiday flurry to distract. when try to call - call center tells me too busy to take the call and will call back - 10 days later 2 emails later they do. well, "we were too cheap compared to our competitors" "you know the weather has gotten worse, so there are more accidents", our service (never used) is so great, we take age into account (i am late 40's). ok you want to cancel? so i say - have your manager call me. I need to know how a company can raise its insurance 40% overnight on a no claim account. still waiting
