I signed a lease for a retail shop, part owned by yourselves. due to high value of stock i chose a shop with an entrance in view of your security cameras. the shopping complex went into arrears and you acquired the property by default. The 1st thing you do is send out letters informing shop tenants that you are planning to remove the security surveillance cameras (and the staff that man them and the button for the tyre spikes, not mentioned in the letters we received). This is done while you are in process of selling the shopping centre. the tenants, as well as myself objected, but you still went ahead and removed. Subsequent to that i was robbed by gunpoint and have undergone excessive stress and trauma as well as economical loss, since this incident. surely your company feels human lives are more precious and valuable, when compared to saving a few rands on your monthly security costs. please advise. i did approach the company managing the shopping centre to get a reply from investec regarding this matter, which i got a unsatisfied reply. i would like closure on this matter, that is disturbing me, at present.
