Premium increase of 69%

I changed my home address from a free standing property to a complex with 24 hrs security and access controlled entrance. I have never had a claim in the year that I was with FFW but suddenly have an increased debit order (shocking of course) From R705 to R1190 per month (with an excess of R2500 in case of a claim). On querying this I was told that my address change had affected my premium as well as the fact that car parts have increased in price. The premium was scrutinised by a manager and reduced by as much as R98 (LOL). I contacted another broker who within a few hours provided a quote of R683 under the Santam Umbrella - excess free! When I told him the reason for the increase he laughed and said that Dodge Caliber parts are imported but not that expensive, First For Women have a lame reason for this huge increase. They are merely exploiting their clients, in my opinion!!! I have heard a few other complaints from claimants as well as friends on claims and quotations! Disgusted in that increase... I hope they get nabbed for this shere!!!
