I sent through a complaint last week about the service we have received on a death claim. I duly got phoned by the complaints manager and got told that it will be sorted out. every day I have had to phone to find out what is happening, because I do not get the call back. I have also sent two e-mails when I thought I was not getting the response I needed. Everyday and I mean everyday there is a different excuse why this claim has been delayed for so long. I was told yesterday that the pricing on the unit trusts would be done this morning and once that is done then it will go to SARS and the payout will be done over the weekend. Low and behold, I get an email today that the coding was done today and the pricing will be done tomorrow, which means it will not go to SARS. so I have once again been given the run around this week and am no closer to getting this resolved. tis is our money and yet we are fighting tooth and nail to get it.
