As a private banking customer, I order items from the ucounts online mall on the 15th December 2013. Standard bank in writing on their webpage assure a 7-10 day delivery period for all orders. I have been given a tracking reference and the tracking last showed the items leaving Cape town on the 17th December 2013. However this was the last confirmed online status. I call the Ucount customer care line, and the following was discussed

1. Apparently the online tracking system has been disabled. The was confirmed on two occasions
2. The Courier in question "UNITED" has no contact number, webpage or branch in CPT.
3. Standard bank have no means to follow up on the items nor have no contact information for the courier.
4.Standard bank have failed on their part to meet the delivery period given in writing to customers.
5. Standard Bank Ucounts customer care have provided dis-satisfactory services and false assurance.

Why is it a National company like Standard Bank utilise the service of pathetic couriers when they could easily utilise the service of superior couriers like UPS, DHL, Speed service.etc.
Its appalling to see Standard bank offer such poorly structured service systems.
